The MOES MZHUB is a gateway that combines the ZigBee, Matter and Thread standards in a single device, letting you control many smart home products from one unified system. It connects over a wired network link, which keeps the connection stable and avoids the dropouts often seen with wireless hubs. According to the manufacturer, it supports up to 128 ZigBee devices at the same time, from lights and plugs to sensors.
Matter support allows the gateway to work with platforms such as Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, SmartThings and Amazon Alexa. Integrating devices across different protocols currently requires third-party apps. Control is available remotely or by voice, with a stated range of up to 35 metres indoors and 200 metres outdoors.
The package includes the gateway, a network cable, a power cable and a user manual. At 75 g, the compact unit is easy to place discreetly in the home.
