2-in-1: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi gateway in a USB-A key

Shelly's new product is a special USB key that acts as a gateway between Shelly BLU devices (using Bluetooth communication) and the Shelly smart home system. The gateway receives communications from Bluetooth devices (sensors, remote controls) and forwards them to the Shelly cloud or locally to another Shelly device without a Bluetooth receiver.

With Shelly BLU Gateway, all older generation Shelly devices (types older than the Shelly Plus and Shelly Pro series) also work with your BLU devices without any problems. It is also a useful addition to the Shelly system in cases where it is only necessary to receive the signal of one Bluetooth sensor or remote control in a place where there is no Shelly Plus or Pro device installed within the Bluetooth range.

USB Type A connector - the device is equipped with a USB connector, it can be plugged directly into a USB power supply. It can be operated wirelessly, as it can be plugged directly into a USB socket.

Scripting for local control - Shelly BLU Gateway also supports Shelly mJS scripting, so it can run automation scripts without a hub or cloud. You can also use scripting to trigger actions on third-party tools.

MQTT, WebSocket Support - Supports MQTT, WebSocket or any other compatible home automation system, such as Home Assistant.

Wi-Fi repeater - Similar to the Shelly Plus and Pro devices, it also includes a Wi-Fi range extender function, enabling it to provide a Wi-Fi hotspot for Wi-Fi devices installed further away from the Wi-Fi router or Access Point Shelly for devices

Easy pairing of Bluetooth devices - Able to scan the Bluetooth network and find all other Bluetooth devices;

Pairing Bluetooth devices via MQTT - If you need simple and stable data transfer between a Bluetooth device and another home automation platform, the Shelly BLU Gateway provides an effective solution for this as well, as it can transmit the data of the Bluetooth device to other systems using the MQTT protocol . ​

Similar to other Shelly devices, it does not require a local hub or central unit for its operation, as the device is connected directly to the Wi-Fi router.
