The EW-DP 835 SET is a portable, fully digital UHF wireless microphone system designed for filmmakers, content creators and broadcasters. The kit combines the compact EW-DP EK digital receiver with the EW-D SKM-S handheld microphone, which is fitted with an MMD 835 dynamic cardioid capsule suited to interviews filmed alongside a camera and to capturing dialogue in noisy surroundings.

The receiver features a front-facing OLED display and magnetic connection, so units can be attached to one another and stacked, simplifying integration into camera rigs. Setup and monitoring are also possible through the Smart Assist app over Bluetooth, which lets you adjust settings from the camera position. Built-in smart notifications offer guidance for feedback, low battery levels and blocked frequencies.

Power can come from standard batteries, the BA 70 lithium-ion battery, or directly via USB-C, which helps cover long shooting days. The system operates in the 552 to 607.8 MHz frequency range (R4-9).
