    The Sennheiser E 902 is a dynamic microphone designed specifically for the low end of the frequency spectrum. It delivers a powerful, well-defined bass with tight, precise transients, making it well suited to kick drums and other low-frequency instruments.

    Its pronounced frequency response features a marked dip in the midrange and emphasised highs and lows. The result is a clear, characterful sound in which strikes are reproduced full-bodied and precise, standing out easily from the overall sound of the band.

    The tone can be shaped flexibly through the microphone's placement inside the drum kit: depending on position, it can sound warm and full or sharp and direct. The sturdy housing is built to withstand the demands of live use. The microphone has an XLR connector and weighs 480 g.
