SENNHEISER AVX-3 digital pocket transmitter for professional video 505859

The Sennheiser AVX-3 is a digital bodypack transmitter for professional video production and forms part of the AVX system. The unit configures the digital transmission on its own, so there is no need to set radio frequencies by hand. It matches its input sensitivity to the camera's input automatically, without requiring manual adjustment of the audio level.

Setup is very quick, and the transmitter connects directly to an XLR audio input. The ultra-compact receiver can be switched on and off via P48 phantom power. The optimised dynamic range and automatic frequency handling provide clean sound quality.

The metal housing is sturdy, and transmissions are secured with AES 256 encryption. The system can be used license-free, and accessories are available for DSLR cameras. Manufactured in Germany, the transmitter weighs 87 g and is easy to handle.
