The wireless and battery-free "Friends of Hue" smart switch offers simple control for the entire Philips Hue universe. The switch can be used to control up to 50 Philips Hue lights and lamps at the same time. Thanks to energy harvesting technology, the Friends of Hue switch generates enough energy to send a radio command with each press. This means no cables or batteries are required and the switch never needs to be charged. The switch has an IP44 protection class, so it is also suitable for outdoor use. It can be attached to external walls with special adhesive points (included in the package). With the Philips Hue Bridge (v2), the switch is also compatible with Homekit scenarios or devices, including speakers such as Sonos or Homepod, sockets or lawn sprinklers.
