The Scheppach GS 70 electric drum wood chipper with collection container is designed to process garden waste. It shreds pruned tree and hedge branches as well as wood waste up to 42 mm in diameter. The chippings can be used for composting, as mulch or as fuel.

The machine is built around a slowly rotating eight-blade drum fitted in a solid metal housing for long service life. The self-locking feed opening draws branches in automatically, and the soft-start function provides a smooth, jerk-free start. The continuously adjustable pressure plate lets you match the feed to the material, and the reverse gear makes it easier to free jammed branches.

A 56-litre integrated plastic collection container is included as standard, so the work area stays tidy. Wheels and a handle make the unit easy to move. Power output is 2800 W, dimensions 640 × 450 × 910 mm and weight 22.5 kg.
