Sanding plasterboard walls or polystyrene (styrofoam) boards, preparing the surface before painting or varnishing, and other similar work to be done in larger areas are usually lengthy and tiring.

Thanks to the long-handled sander (so-called giraffe) and large sanding surface of the high-quality Scheppach DS 930, this task can be completed much faster. Since different materials need to be sanded at different speeds, the sander is equipped with a speed control. The accessory of the sander is an extendable telescopic arm, which can be used to extend the length of the machine up to 140-165 cm, so with the movable head, e.g. the ceiling and hard-to-reach places as well. The machine also comes with a delta head, which is ideal for working at the corners of walls. The built-in LED lighting makes it easier to work even in dark places. The Velcro sanding paper can be easily and quickly changed. The ergonomically designed sanding machine and the soft, non-slip grip ensure comfortable work over a long period of time. The DS 930 sander consists of several accessories, such as 24 pieces of sandpaper with different grits, a 4 m long extraction hose, a portable bag and 2 pieces of reducers for connecting different vacuum cleaners. With the option of dust extraction, the amount of dust generated during sanding can be significantly reduced. The machine can be easily disassembled into three parts, so it takes up little space and can be easily transported, even in the trunk of a car.
