In 2004, when the predecessor of the current volume, the Székely dictionary, was published, the author expected to be able to come up with a revised and expanded edition within two years.
In contrast, it took thirteen years to process the enormous amount of words and data with which the Szeklers flooded the collector. It was worth the wait: the new volume groups the Székely words, which in many cases see printing ink for the first time, according to word families, so that they not only shine on their own, but also illuminate the dark spots of the Székely language's long past.
The Bühnagy Székely dictionary is more than a simple glossary: ​​a volume of stories - or a stream of novels - consisting of many, many articles, which also reveals the miracle of the birth of the most unique and flexible language in the world - Hungarian, and which, wherever we open it, transports us to Fairyland.
