Product description
In the beginning, they all thought that men's stories must be about missteps, conquests, and vagaries. Then, slowly, very different stories emerged. About the past and the future, meetings and partings, the village fool and the woman who was so smart for nothing.
But we also travel through Africa in our imagination, following an almost unbelievable story, we go behind the scenes of risky parallel lives, there are soldier stories that make us cry and laugh, as well as lives that ran into blind alleys and astonishing rebirths. Eighteen honest tales about men without whom life wouldn't be such an exciting adventure, and who are... "like that". And, of course, "such" ones too.
Just like women.
The author, who was originally a journalist, decided one day to turn his back on his whole life up to that point, get out of the squirrel's wheel of going to hell, and set out to find his own path that leads to his true desires. He followed his plan, so it happened that, leaving everything behind, he first flew to Buenos Aires for six months to learn Argentine tango, and then walked along the eight hundred kilometer pilgrimage route, El Camino. Then his life took a complete turn.
In his first novel, which became a bestseller in a short time, he wrote about the miracle of El Camino, later a book was published about his adventure in Buenos Aires, and then more and more about his simultaneously external and internal trips to India, Mariazell, Indonesia, Thailand. As a life counselor - and of course as a middle-aged woman - she painted an authentic picture of the world of wives replaced by younger ones, of unemployed Hungarian pilgrims looking for a way out of the credit trap, and of the shocking stories emerging from the background of lives that have fallen into a hole.
