    The SAFE Motion Guard Plus is a wireless indoor motion detector that combines two sensors: a PIR sensor and a 24 GHz microwave sensor. This dual setup detects movement reliably at distances up to 12 metres across a 90-degree horizontal field of view. The detector can ignore pets weighing up to 18 kg and standing up to 50 cm tall, which helps reduce false alarms.

    It communicates bidirectionally with the control unit of the SAFE security system using AES128 encryption, with a range of up to 1600 metres in open terrain. The device operates on the 868 MHz band and features frequency hopping as well as tamper protection. A built-in temperature sensor, remote cloud firmware updates and three-level sensitivity adjustment complete the feature set.

    Powered by a single CR123A battery, the sensor runs for up to four years without interruption. It can be mounted on a wall or in a corner at a height of 2 to 2.4 metres and is compatible with the SAFE Hub 2 Plus LTE control unit.
