SAFE Fire Guard wireless smoke detector white SAFE38230

The SAFE38230 is a wireless smoke detector in white, equipped with a dual-spectrum optical sensor that responds to smoke in real time. Its built-in SIC technology allows the alarm to be temporarily silenced with an IR remote control, helping to reduce false alarms. The unit can be connected to the SAFE security system (SAFE Hub 2 Plus LTE), but it also works as a standalone device.

Bidirectional communication runs on 868.3 MHz with AES128 encryption, with a range of up to 1000 metres in open space. When danger is detected, the detector sounds an alarm of 85–95 dB at three metres and also lights an LED indicator. Up to 24 units can be linked within a single system.

The sensor is powered by one CR123A lithium battery, with a service life of up to three years. It mounts on the ceiling, covers an area of 20–40 m² and operates between -10 °C and +55 °C. The device measures 98 mm in diameter and 43.1 mm in height and weighs 140 g.
