    The SAFE38110 is a wireless magnetic sensor that detects opening, impact and tilt, designed for indoor use. It is intended for securing windows and doors. A reliable reed switch, rated by the manufacturer for up to 2 million cycles, and a three-axis accelerometer for shock detection and tilt angle measurement provide the monitoring.

    The bidirectional SAFE Keeper communication protocol with AES128 encryption maintains a secure connection to the SAFE Hub 2 Plus LTE control unit. Range in open terrain is up to 1,200 metres, operating in the 868 MHz band. Tamper protection, cloud-based firmware updates and a temperature sensor are built in.

    Powered by a single CR123A battery, the sensor runs for up to 4 years according to the manufacturer, assuming two activations per day. Its compact dimensions of 100.2 × 20.8 × 20.3 mm and weight of 70 g make it easy to mount on most windows or doors. Impact sensitivity can be adjusted across three levels, and tilt detection triggers at 25°.
