The HPE Networking CW 2050 is a Layer 2/Layer 3 enterprise switch built for modern business networks and the access layer of campus networks. It offers 24 RJ-45 ports at 1 Gigabit per second, all supporting PoE+ under the 802.3af and 802.3at standards. Four SFP uplink ports handle 1G and 2.5G connections, designed for high throughput and low latency.

Features include VLAN management, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP link aggregation, IGMP snooping and LLDP, along with QoS for traffic prioritisation. IRF stacking lets you manage up to nine devices from a single interface.

The 420 W power supply provides enough power for PoE+ devices such as Wi-Fi access points. Management is possible through SNMP v1/v2c/v3, a web GUI or a command-line interface. The 19-inch rack-mount design makes it easy to install in server cabinets.
