S. L. MacGregor Mathers - Abra-Melin a mágus szent mágiája

Abra-Melin's Sacred Magic of the Mage is written in an elevated style. Perfectly connected, it does not require the extreme meticulousness of ritual, nor even the usual planning. There is nothing that offends intelligence. In contrast, the planned operation is extremely simple. The method is completely based on it. There are, indeed, certain precepts which must be observed, but all this really amounts to no more than orders for the observance of propriety in carrying out the sublime operation. When these are done, there really is nothing to do but to strive with increasing zeal and concentration—for six months—to acquire the knowledge and teaching of the Holy Guardian Angel…. After crafting the appropriate talismans, they absorb the power of various spirits. By using them, you can practically achieve anything you want." Aleister Crowley
