This fiber optic patch cable connects two devices with LC/LC connectors and OM4-grade fiber. Its low-loss design is intended for high-performance optical cabling in buildings and campus backbones. The 1 m cable has a purple jacket, weighs 30 g and uses male-to-male (apa/apa) connectors.

The OM4 fiber and connector quality provide very low insertion loss, helping to maintain signal quality at high bandwidths. According to the manufacturer, the cable supports 10 Gb/s Ethernet, Fibre Channel and OIF applications over distances of up to 550 m. Low-loss LC connectors typically add only 0.15 dB of loss, compared with 0.5 dB for a standard LC connector, which noticeably improves network performance.

The jacket is made of LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material, which produces less smoke and fewer toxic gases in a fire, supporting safer operation.
