SmartLav+ is an improved version of the original SmartLav clip-on microphone, its capsule has become much more sensitive and less noisy, and its cable has been reinforced with Kevlar.

Thanks to the spherical condenser capsule, SmartLav picks up sounds with the same sensitivity from any point around the microphone, so it can be placed on the speaker in almost any position, the end result will almost always be of the same quality.
