    The RØDE NT5-MP is a matched stereo pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones, suited to live acoustic recording as well as studio work. Each capsule has a 1/2-inch gold-plated diaphragm and is externally polarised, with low self-noise and a wide frequency response.

    The capsules are interchangeable and come with a cardioid pattern. An omnidirectional capsule (NT45-O) is available as an option. The electronics and capsule are housed in a sturdy, satin-nickel metal body. The microphones operate with both 48 V and 24 V phantom power.

    The capsules in each pair are matched for sensitivity to within 0.1 dB, supporting an accurate stereo image and high fidelity. The package includes two microphone clips, two foam windshields and a plastic carry case.
