RODE M5-MP small-diaphragm microphone matched stereo pair

The RØDE M5-MP is a pair of 1/2" cardioid condenser capsules, low self-noise, wide frequency range, matched stereo microphone pair.

RØDE's engineers have used the long-standing successful development results of the award-winning NT5 microphone to create a small-diaphragm microphone that is sure to impress the most demanding performers and sound engineers alike.

The M5 is ideal for studio or stage use. The microphone is excellent for use on a range of acoustic instruments or even for choral recordings, virtually anywhere a small-diaphragm condenser microphone can be used, alone or in a stereo arrangement.

In order to achieve a perfect stereo sound image, the microphones are carefully paired in the factory, making sure that the sensitivity difference between the capsules of the paired microphones is within 1dB. The fact of pairing is confirmed by the manufacturer with a foiled certificate, which is included with the microphones.

The M5 also received RØDE's patented ceramic coating in matte black. The basic accessories of the microphone pair include two RM5 microphone holders and two WS5 microphone sponges.
