Product description
Razer has introduced a new, fairly lightweight gaming headset that continues the foundations of the extremely popular Razer Kraken X. In the case of the Razer Kraken V3 X, which weighs only 285 grams, it was an important aspect that it should not be uncomfortable during prolonged use, for this purpose it received memory foam ear pads, and the inner half of the headband was also thoroughly padded. Of course, care was also taken to ensure that the headband only presses the speaker housings to our ears as much as absolutely necessary.
Inside the speaker housings, there is a special speaker each that uses Razer's TriForce technology, which means that they promise almost as clear sound as if they had separate high, mid, and deep speakers - this was achieved with a special speaker design. The 7.1-channel surround sound makes the audio experience even more engaging and lifelike, so it is easier to determine from which direction the sounds are coming, which can be an important advantage during a game, while it enhances the experience with other content. 7.1 channel surround sound is only available under Windows 10 64-bit operating system.
The speakers with a diameter of 40 millimeters have an impedance of 32 ohms and a sensitivity of 103 dbSPL/mW, and the frequency range covered by them extends from 12 Hz to 28 kHz. The ear cushions around the ears help block out the noise of the outside world.
The novelty intended for gamers also received a HyperClear Cardioid microphone on a bendable stem, which operates within the frequency range of 100 Hz and 10 kHz, with a sensitivity of -42 dB. The microphone with cardioid/kidney characteristics detects sounds from the direction of the speaker and also has a noise filter function, thanks to which it transmits speech sounds clearly and intelligibly. It is also possible to mute the microphone with a dedicated button, which is located on the left speaker housing, and below that we also find a volume control, which helps to adjust the volume of the speakers.
Of course, the ultra-light headset with a microphone does not lack the Razer Chrome RGB lighting, which can display 16.8 million shades of color and can of course be customized as needed through the free factory software.
