RAINPOINT Z238 hydroponic growing kit for 13 plants

The RainPoint hydroponic growing kit lets you grow up to 13 plants at once without soil, so you can harvest fresh herbs and vegetables throughout the year. A 5-liter water tank feeds the plants through a pump with a flow rate of 150 l/h, which circulates water to the roots. The compact unit measures roughly 35 to 52 cm in length and 17 to 20.5 cm in width, depending on configuration, so it fits easily on a windowsill or shelf.

The built-in LED light offers two modes, one for vegetables and one for flowers and fruit. An automatic cycle of 16 hours on and 8 hours off mimics natural daylight, and the light panel can be raised to 36 cm to suit each stage of growth. The pump runs in 30-minute cycles, alternating operation and rest, which keeps the roots hydrated and supplied with oxygen.

The controller remembers the last used settings, so the system resumes its previous mode after a restart. A water-level window makes it easy to check the reservoir, and a separate filling opening lets you top up without dismantling the unit. Covers over the 13 baskets limit light reaching the water, helping to prevent algae.
