RAINPOINT ICS044L Rain sensor

The RainPoint ICS044L is a wired rain sensor for automatic garden irrigation. When it detects rain, it stops the watering system, and once the hygroscopic discs dry out, the system resumes operation on its own. This prevents unnecessary water use and overwatering of your plants.

Rain sensitivity can be set to four levels: 3 mm, 6 mm, 13 mm and 19 mm. A ventilation ring also adjusts the drying time of the discs, controlling how quickly irrigation restarts. The 5-metre cable allows installation at a suitable outdoor location.

The sensor connects directly to an irrigation controller and works with the common SEN or COM inputs. The package includes the sensor, two hygroscopic discs, a mounting bracket, fixing screws with wall plugs and a user manual.
