RAINPOINT HCS596WB solar-powered Wi-Fi temperature and humidity meter

The RAINPOINT HCS596WB is a Wi-Fi thermo-hygrometer for indoor and outdoor use that measures temperature and humidity and makes the readings available through a mobile app. Measurements refresh every 2 seconds, so changing conditions can be followed almost in real time. Via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth you can check current, maximum and minimum values, view trend charts and set alerts for temperature and humidity. The app also shows a 24-hour weather forecast and sunrise and sunset times.

The device is additionally powered by a solar panel, which is intended to extend battery life and reduce maintenance. The large display, readable from a 180° viewing angle, shows indoor temperature and humidity, the city temperature and the DRY, COM and WET comfort indices. You can choose whether temperature is shown in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

The comfort index makes it easier to judge the room climate: DRY indicates humidity below 30%, COM a range of 30% to 70% at 20 to 26 °C, and WET humidity above 70%. Package contents: thermo-hygrometer and user manual.
