The high-capacity TS-855X comes with six 3.5-inch SATA drive bays (for HDDs), two 2.5-inch SATA drive bays (for SSDs) and an 8-core processor that supports Intel® QuickAssist Technology (QAT) , greatly helping businesses deploy a data storage and virtualization environment. Built-in 10GbE/2.5GbE high-speed connectivity helps you implement fast data access, backup/recovery, file server and virtualization applications. The TS-855X uses the QTS operating system by default, but can be switched to the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system as needed. With QNAP's long-term availability and support (up to 2027), the TS-855X is an ideal choice for businesses that require identical NAS models for long-term projects.
