Twilight City is a complex board game for 1 to 4 players, with a playing time of around 120 minutes. Players take on the role of partisans who join forces to topple a dictatorial government in a smog-choked metropolis, while also competing against one another for prestige points.

Daily actions are carried out using the cards played during the game, and players must keep an eye on the police airship, which constantly changes position and makes things harder for everyone once it enters a player's line of sight. Every decision has long-term consequences.

A solo mode is also included, offering its own set of challenges. Gameplay is shaped by the cards you choose and the sabotage actions you take, and the game ends once the partisans have completed all their tasks or reached their goals.
