    The PremiumCord HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed active optical cable is a 20-metre connection for carrying audio and video between two devices. It supports 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz resolutions, a maximum data rate of 48 Gb/s, 12-bit colour depth and YUV 4:4:4.

    Because the signal travels as light, the cable keeps high picture quality over long distances and is resistant to electromagnetic interference. It supports HDCP 1.4, 2.2 and 2.3, as well as eARC, ARC, HEC, VRR and ALLM, and passes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio formats.

    The hybrid cable is 4.6 mm in diameter and contains four OM3 optical fibres and seven copper conductors. It has gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors with a metal shield and needs no external power supply. The direction of the cable is marked, and it should only be connected while the devices are switched off.
