PIATNIK Onitama board game 51855G

Onitama is an elegant two-player strategy board game inspired by the martial arts of Japan. The aim is to defeat your opponent's Master piece or to occupy its starting square, using only 16 movement cards whose constantly changing combinations shape every turn.

The game is very easy to learn, yet it demands deep strategic thinking. Each turn, players move their pieces across the mat that serves as the playing board, then pass the card they used to their opponent, so the available options keep changing.

The box contains a mat as the playing board, 2 Master pieces, 8 Student pieces, 16 movement cards and the rulebook. Recommended from age 10. A game lasts about 20 minutes, making it an ideal choice for a quick and clever pastime.
