Phonocar Selection 13cm mid-bass speaker 70W 02083

The Phonocar Selection 02083 is a 13 cm midrange speaker designed for car audio systems. It follows the DIN standard with a diameter of 130 mm and a mounting depth of 55 mm, so it fits into many vehicles without extensive modification. Its PP cone diaphragm is intended to deliver clear mids and solid bass. According to the manufacturer, the frequency response covers 70 Hz to 7.7 kHz.

With a sensitivity of 90 dB, the speaker sounds lively and full even at moderate amplifier power. It is rated for 25 W RMS continuous power and 70 W maximum, which makes it suitable for use with factory head units as well. At 700 g, it has a sturdy build.

The Selection series from Phonocar is engineered in Italy and works well both as a replacement for older speakers and as an upgrade to an original car audio system.
