    The Philips Sonicare Series 5500 in black is a sonic electric toothbrush that cleans teeth with up to 62,000 movements per minute. It offers two cleaning modes, a daily clean mode and a whitening mode designed to remove surface stains, which the manufacturer says can make teeth up to twice as white.

    An built-in pressure sensor alerts you with vibration and a pulsing sound when you press too hard, helping to protect your gums. SmartTimer and BrushPacer features help you keep to the recommended brushing time, and a brush head reminder shows when it is time to replace the head.

    The lithium-ion battery lasts up to 21 days on a single charge, and the charger works with 100–240 V. The package includes one W Optimal White brush head, the charger and a travel case. Its slim, ergonomic design gives a comfortable grip for adult users.
