PHILIPS FY5133/00 Descaling cartridge Humidifier cartridge

This descaling cartridge is a replacement for Philips humidifiers in the 1000 Series, including the HU1509 and HU1510 models. To identify your humidifier model, check the base of the device. The white cartridge weighs 70 g and comes as a single unit in the package.

The specially formulated granules absorb minerals such as calcium and magnesium from the water, which helps prevent limescale from building up inside the appliance. In areas with hard water, using the cartridge is recommended to keep the humidifier performing well over time. For best results, Philips suggests replacing it every two to three months, depending on the mineral content of your water and how often the unit is used.

The humidifier can also be connected to the Air+ app, which makes it easy to reorder accessories when needed.
