Petrőczi Éva - Katicamesék (2017)

The versatile Éva Petrőczi – poet, literary historian, literary translator and publicist – is no stranger to "ladybug" affairs. She was just three years old when they started playing with her mother in Pécsett that she was a little ladybug who had lost a dot, on which the little black dot that was lost and then found had to be glued back on. So far, poetry lovers have only been able to meet his bug poems for adults, as well as his radio and TV portraits. Now, however, from this more than sixty years of "ladybug chatter" the poetic fairy tale Katica Kata pettye was born. The other work in the volume - A bicycliző katica - is the story of a boy ladybug, Gergő, who laments a lot because of his chubbyness, but who is resourceful.
The author - mother of a large family and grandmother of six little girls - is the happy owner of an entire museum of ladybug objects. In this collection, you can find almost everything from hats to slippers, from vacuum cleaners to bushings.
Éva Petrőczi prepared this book with great love for Children's Day 2017 - of course, published by Katica Könyv Műhely. His work was helped by two co-authors - a young mother, Lujza Thár, who painted the illustrations, and Eszter Babos, who made the puppet appendage and raised four boys.
