The Peak Design Travel Tripod Ultralight Conversion Kit turns your travel tripod into an extremely light, tabletop-sized three-legged stand in just a few minutes. The conversion requires no tools: remove the lower four leg sections and insert the three included leg plugs, made from lightweight yet sturdy plastic.
This cuts the tripod's weight by half, to just 90 g, while keeping its professional build quality. In its converted form, the tripod still extends to a height of 57.2 cm.
The kit is ideal for hiking with a backpack and for any situation where weight is critical and a compact setup on a table or other surface is needed.
