Product description
Paracelsus (1493-1541), originally known as: Aureolus Philippus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, was the most significant and colorful magician, alchemist and physician of the Renaissance. Followers of the occult sciences honor him as the originator of the therapy of magical medicine. He fought his life full of adventures and upheavals with his head held high and thus became a genius of the Renaissance. His motto appears on most pictures depicting Paracelsus: "Alterius non sit qui suus esse potest" - that is, "Don't let someone else be your master." With Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim, the richest written heritage of the magical literature of the Middle Ages was handed down to posterity. In his work Occult Philosophy, he explains his views on magic, the nature of spirits, dreams, initiation and obsession.
