The OSRAM SMART+ WiFi outdoor alarm siren, model RST-KT-SOL, is a smart alarm device designed to protect homes and outdoor areas. Its white, weather-resistant housing meets IP65 and suits permanent installation outside. When triggered, the siren sounds at up to 95 dB and flashes a red LED warning light to deter intruders, while sending instant push notifications to your smartphone.
A built-in solar panel charges the Li-Ion battery, which can also be charged via USB-C. According to the manufacturer, the battery allows up to 7 months of autonomous operation. You can choose from three alarm tones and three volume levels, and set the alarm duration anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 minutes. Tamper detection and an offline alert are also included.
The siren connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to the SMART+ system and works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The app is available for Android 8.0 and later and iOS 14.0 and later. It is well suited to family houses, garages, terraces and gardens.
