"END GAME UNIVERSE - Part 1 of the First Ant War Trilogy

Written by Orson Scott Card and Aaron Johnston, the First Ant Wars trilogy takes place a hundred years before the events of Endgame, when the Ants arrive on Earth, bringing destruction with them.
The El Cavador spacecraft is almost alone in the Kuiper Belt, far from Earth, beyond Pluto. When an object approaching at high speed appears on the mining ship's telescope, at first they cannot imagine what it could be. The object is huge and traveling at nearly the speed of light.
Since the crew of El Cavador has other problems to deal with, worrying about a distant object that may or may not be an alien spacecraft is not their primary concern.
They would do well to focus all their attention on this, because the appearance of this starship is the most important thing that has happened to the human race in the last one million years. The outbreak of the first ant war is imminent."
