Noszlopi Botond - Örkény besírna

István Örkény created a genre with his one-minute short stories, and he had many followers, including some quite great ones. But no one has yet dared to provoke the father of one-minutes. We don't know if Örkény would cry, but he would definitely pick up the book after seeing such a title. The reader should do the same, and it is guaranteed that he will not regret it. Noszlopi, known so far as a poet - especially for the Csendrapsódia - surprises us with his extremely sophisticated prose. He holds an evil crooked mirror in front of us, portraying the soul of the people of his time with murderous humor, as well as social problems. The lawyer never emerged from the poet, but the prose writer did, which gives the texts a special spice. It is a very light, yet very serious read. "Today it is a scientifically confirmed fact that humans are actually relatives of worms. Food goes in at the top, faeces come out at the bottom. Meanwhile, some people also perform more complex nervous system activities, completely involuntarily. Of course, many more advanced worms are also capable of this."
