The G2 marks the second generation of the Noctua NH-D15 cooler with innovations such as 8 heat pipes, second generation NF-A14x25r fans and an asymmetric heatsink (higher compatibility with motherboards).
The NH-D15 G2 is Noctua's current flagship, its goal is to compete with the efficiency of currently available water cooling.
The LBC (Low Base Convexity) designation indicates that this version is mainly optimized for CPUs with flatter contact surfaces, such as AMD AM5 socket CPUs.
