A true double conversion
Providing the highest level of isolation from the mains power source, it is usually the standard choice for protecting critical systems. Balder constantly processes the power supply twice. If the AC input supply filters out the predetermined limits, the input rectifier turns off and the output frequency converter continues to operate, using the power supply instead of the battery. The UPS continues to use the battery until the AC input returns to normal tolerances or the battery is discharged.

Thanks to the input voltage range between 110 V and 300 V AC, the Balder can be used with any type of voltage source.
