Go on two classic cosmic adventures!
A pair of enhanced interstellar adventures await in Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Nintendo Switch console! Travel into space in search of Power Stars, conquer the challenges of the universe, and most importantly, stop Bowser!

Super Mario Galaxy

A night under the stars...

The night of the Star Festival has arrived, when Star Bits fall from the sky! As everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom celebrates, Bowser launches a sneak attack and blasts the castle—along with Princess Peach—into space, leaving Mario stranded in planetary orbit!

Mario soon escapes with the help of the curious star child Luma, who leads him to the Comet Observatory, home of a mysterious woman named Rosalina. Together, the two set off across the stars to free Princess Peach and foil Bowser's evil plan!

Welcome to the galaxy!
Starting from the various domes of the Comet Observatory, you can reach the nearby galaxies, each of which has unique characteristics. As more and more Power Stars come into your possession, more and more galaxies open up for you - so don't miss a single one!

Cosmic abilities
Use Mario's tried-and-true jumps and Luma's power to jump, spin, and stomp over obstacles in your way! Fly through space with Launch Stars, collect Star Bits and run from planet to planet in search of Power Stars.

Collect special power-ups and watch Mario transform - gaining all kinds of special abilities to make the most of each galaxy!

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Go into space again with Mario and Yoshi!

A brand new universe of adventures awaits beyond the stars! Step aboard Starship Mario and set off to explore more galaxies, more abilities and more gravity-defying fun.

Another stardust story
The new Star Festival has begun! As Mario heads to the castle to celebrate with Princess Peach, he meets a young Luma who takes an instant liking to him. They continue their journey together, unaware that an unpleasant surprise awaits them...

Troublemaker Bowser is back - and this time he's HUGE! Grabbing Princess Peach in her claws, she heads for the center of the universe, leaving Mario behind. Now it's up to Mario and Luma to chase him down and use the power of the stars to stop Bowser once again!

All aboard Starship Mario!
That's a spaceship over there that looks like... Mario's head?! But how much! Explore the stars with Lubba and his crew of space-faring Lumas as you travel to a variety of different galaxies. Each one has its own challenges and plenty of Power Stars to recover!

Soar among the stars
Run, jump, spin! Use all of Mario's tricks to explore galaxies, defeat enemies and overcome obstacles. Then hop on Yoshi's back and use his long tongue to nibble on fruit, swallow opponents, or even swing on course elements!

By acquiring special power-ups, Mario can transform to gain new abilities for exploration and combat. But Yoshi won't be left out of the party either - you can get extra abilities with the special fruits!
