NINTENDO Pokemon Legends Arceus (Switch)

Catch and observe wild Pokémon to build the Sinnoh region's first Pokédex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, coming to Nintendo Switch in early 2022. Pokémon Legends: Arceus remains true to the basics of the previous parts of the Pokémon game series, while incorporating new types of action and RPG elements.

You can return to the Sinnoh region, the land of the Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl games. But this story takes place in a long, long time before there were any such things as Pokémon Trainers or the Pokémon League. You will be surrounded by many wild Pokémon that live in the harsh areas of Sinnoh, a completely different region of Sinnoh than you may remember from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl.

Catch Pokemons!
To catch Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you need to observe them to learn their behavior, then carefully sneak up, aim, and throw the Poké Ball at them! Your Pokémon companions can also help you fight against the wild Pokémon you want to catch. Just throw the Poké Ball containing your Pokémon companion near the wild Pokémon and a Pokémon battle will begin almost immediately, where you can instruct your Pokémon to use the attacks it knows.

Meet your first Pokémon companion
As you begin your adventures building the region's first Pokédex, you can choose a companion from Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott. These three Pokémon came with the Pokémon Professor, who encountered them during his travels in other regions.
