Intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran receives a distress signal from a wrecked frigate orbiting the planet Tallon IV. During the investigation, it turns out that the frigate is a research ship of space pirates, where terrifying genetic experiments are carried out with the mysterious substance Phazon. There, Samus meets her archenemy, Meta Ridley, whom she pursues to the surface of Tallon IV. It's up to him alone to explore the connected regions of the planet, uncover its dark secrets, and end the intergalactic threat posed by Phazon.

Bounty hunter's tools
Trained as a warrior and infused with Chozo DNA, the unstoppable Samus Aran patrols the galaxy as a feared freelance bounty hunter. Explore some of the Chozo-crafted weapons and abilities that will aid you in battles and solving mysteries. Use the visor of your Power Suit armor to find useful information about the mysterious history of Tallon IV, but scanning will also be of great help during the fights, with which you can learn more about your opponents, or it can help reveal their weak points.

Travel through the diverse biomes of the planet Tallon IV as you uncover the sinister experiments of the space pirates and gather information about the toxic substance that has devastated the planet. From the soothing silence of snowy Phendrana Drifts to the magma geysers of Magmoor Caverns, this alien planet presents beautifully rugged landscapes and labyrinths. As you gain abilities, it's worthwhile returning to areas you've already explored to discover the different routes and secrets hidden in this beautiful yet menacing interconnected world.
