The Newland NVH220 Lophius II is a rugged handheld barcode scanner designed for industrial use. Its AI-based recognition technology automatically detects, locates and decodes 1D and 2D barcodes, including damaged, distorted or specially marked codes such as Direct Part Marking (DPM).

The scanner combines red and blue direct lighting with white diffuse light, delivering reliable reads on shiny, curved or low-contrast surfaces. An automatic learning function adjusts brightness and light source on its own.

With IP64 protection and a drop resistance of 1.8 meters, the scanner is built for dependable operation in warehouse, logistics and industrial environments. It supports USB, serial and Ethernet connections and is ready to use as soon as it is connected. It weighs 160 g and comes in black.
