The NESTRON NPN-IL-1C6SF-TC is a shielded Cat6 cable coupler for repairing or extending network cables. Both ends use LSA connections with Krone-style IDC punch-down contacts, providing a way to join the cable conductors without a separate plug connection.
Its metal housing and shielding help protect the connection from electromagnetic interference. This makes the coupler suitable for restoring a damaged Ethernet cable or extending a cable when additional length is needed. The unit is silver and weighs 40 g.
