The NEEWER BASICS SL90C is a compact RGB LED video light with a maximum output of 8 W. It offers three operating modes, CCT, HSI and FX, along with a range of settings to shape the lighting to suit each shot. The light combines 45 warm white, 45 cool white and 48 RGB LEDs, reaching a maximum illuminance of 984 lx at 0.5 m.

In CCT mode, colour temperature can be adjusted smoothly between 2700 K and 7500 K, with brightness controllable from 0 to 100 percent. HSI mode gives access to the full RGB spectrum with hue adjustable from 0 to 360 degrees, which is useful for matching the light to a set, a mood or a particular visual effect. FX mode provides 18 dynamic lighting effects that simulate various real-world lighting situations.

The included cold shoe adapter fits most DSLR and mirrorless cameras, and the light also has 1/4-inch threaded holes for tabletop stands and other compatible mounts. A built-in 4000 mAh lithium battery gives up to 113 minutes of runtime at full brightness and charges via USB. The light can also act as a power bank to charge a smartphone or tablet. At 235 g, it is easy to carry along with the rest of your kit.
