The siblings, Móna and Marci, take part in a family trip and in the process discover the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and touches of the forest ― while also learning from each other. The theme of On the Road is hearing, the family talks about sounds on the way to the forest, whose favorite sound is what. The 8 perforated word cards in the volume make it easier for children to get to know the words, and the games at the end of the volume help deepen the content of the story. The poems, songs, nursery rhymes and word cards in the volume also offer opportunities for games and shared family experiences.
