MOES ZigBee gas detector ZSS-QY-GL-U

The MOES ZSS-QY-GL-U is a ZigBee natural gas leak detector designed to monitor methane in gas systems. It measures in the range of 0 to 100% LEL with an accuracy of ±3% LEL and triggers an alarm when the 8% LEL threshold is exceeded. In case of danger, it sounds an audible alarm of at least 70 dB and a red light flashes, so the problem is noticed quickly. You also receive a notification in the app via the ZigBee gateway, allowing a response even when you are away. A Tuya gateway is required for communication.

The sensor is powered by a USB-C cable, so there is no need to replace batteries. Its temperature-compensated measurement operates reliably between -10 °C and 55 °C. The fire- and heat-resistant housing and the test button on the front help ensure safe everyday use.

Mount the detector under the ceiling at a height of 0.3 to 1 m, which suits methane because it is lighter than air. It can be combined with other ZigBee devices such as motion, smoke, door and window sensors to create smart home automations that boost security.
