MINOX MD 80 ZR 20-60x80 straight-viewing spotting scope min62231

The Minox MD 80 ZR is a straight-view spotting scope designed for observing game, shooting ranges and extended long-distance observation. Its 20× to 60× zoom range lets you switch quickly between a wide overview and fine detail. The 80 mm objective and the newly designed prism system with nine lens elements deliver a high-contrast, colour-accurate image with fine detail rendering. The compact design is about 20% smaller than comparable scopes in its class.

The rugged, rubber-coated metal housing is waterproof to a depth of 5 metres, and the gas filling prevents internal fogging. Weighing 2190 g, it is a stable instrument for fixed-position use.

The reticle of the ZR model, MR2-S, sits in the first focal plane (FFP), so it scales proportionally with magnification. The 0.2 milliradian graduation and the additional AQRAS scale support orientation, range estimation and long-range shooting applications.
