The Minisforum UM890 Pro is a compact mini PC built around the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, which reaches up to 5.2 GHz and uses the Zen 4 architecture with eight cores and sixteen threads. The integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics handle everyday visual tasks in a small chassis. This configuration includes 16 GB of DDR5 notebook memory and a 512 GB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD, with two SSD slots available for later expansion.

Connectivity is generous for its size: two 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and an Oculink port. Wireless connections are covered by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The Cold Wave 2.2 cooling system is designed to keep operation stable and quiet even under sustained load.
