The CRS328-24P-4S+RM has 28 independent ports switch with 24 gigabit Ethernet ports that offer different output options: passive POE, low-voltage POE, 802.3AF / AT (type 1 "POE" / TYPE 2 " POE+") with automatic detection. The POE output passes through mode B (4.5+) (7.8-). The four SFP+ port provides up to 10 Gbps connectivity via optical or Ethernet modules (not included).

The CRS328-24P-4S+RM is located in a 1U rack-mounted house with a built-in 100-240 V AC 500 W power supply. The device consumes up to 44 W to guarantee 450 W (3x150 W for every 8 Ethernet port) to power POE devices. Each port can deliver up to 30 W power with any selected output option.

The device has a "dual boot" feature that allows you to choose two operating systems (router or SWOS). If you just want to provide a simplified operating system, use SWOS. If you want to use the routing and other layers of layer 3 in CRS, use the router application. You can select the desired operating system from the load settings of the router, SWOS or routerboot.
