Mike Smith - Boko Haram

In 2014, the Nigerian Islamic organization Boko Haram, which is now considered the most dangerous terrorist group in the world, shocked the public by kidnapping three hundred schoolgirls. With their horrors According to the video message of the bandits, little girls are treated as slaves and sold, but there may also be some who appear as suicide bombers in the capitals of Western Europe. A separate hashtag (a tag used on social media) has already been created in social media to free the girls, which was called bringbackourgirls. Perhaps this also helped in the fact that many of them escaped, but more than a hundred are still in the captivity of Boko Haram.
Mike Smith spent years in Africa's most populous country, Nigeria, as a Central African correspondent for the French news agency AFP. He witnessed the creation and recovery of the organization, and visited the territory occupied by terrorists several times. Based on personal experiences, it presents from the inside the birth of the movement, its leaders and their actions from its inception to the present day.
Boko Haram now presents itself as the African wing of the Islamic State rampaging in Iraq and Syria, and in cruelty, if possible, surpasses it. Who is it made up of, who can it rely on, and what goals has the African caliphate set for itself? Mike Smith's book is the first detailed and authentic report on Boko Haram in Hungarian.
